The Caribbean Marketing Conference and Awards Luncheon is one of the highlights of Caribbean Week. Now in its 17th year, the Conference which is hosted by the CTO Allied members in collaboration with the Association of Travel Marketing Executives (ATME), will be attended by Ministers, Commissioners and Directors of Tourism as well as senior tourism industry representatives from the private sector. This is a session that is guaranteed to be stimulating! Early arrivals are treated to a Continental Breakfast before the Conference and an Awards Luncheon, complete with entertainment, afterwards.

CTO Government Members — $300 — RMF contributors, deduct —$50
CTO Allied/Affiliate/Carrier Member — $325
Non-Member — $425.00

The following 4 awards will be presented at the Luncheon:
The Marcia Vickery Travel Journalism Award — The Marcia Vickery Travel Journalism Award is for excellence in travel journalism to a writer who has consistently made an outstanding contribution to the Caribbean through media.
The Marcella Martinez Award — The Marcella Martinez Award honors individuals in the industry who through their untiring efforts strengthen the marketing programs of our Caribbean destinations, and who have shown diligent support for the region's educational and cultural values.
The "Jerry — The "Jerry" was conceived in 1997 in memory of the late Jerry Magit, a fellow allied member who represented the Allied membership on the CTO Board of Directors. The Award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated a passion for the development of the region and has dedicated time, energy, money and other personal and professional resources to the development of the Caribbean.
The Allied Award — Established in 2005, the Allied Award is presented to an individual from among the CTO family - (Government Member, Carrier Member (Airlines and Cruise Lines), Allied Member (which includes Hotels, Tour Operator, Marketing Company, Newspaper, Magazine, Television), Affiliate Members and CTO staff - who has done an extraordinary job of contributing, in a tangible way, to the sustainable development of the region.
Only Allied Members in good standing may nominate a candidate in either of the two categories. All submissions should be made by Friday, April 29, 2011.
Submissions should be in the form of an essay, not to exceed 250 words describing why the candidate merits the Award for which he or she is being nominated.
Nominations should be sent electronically to ctony@caribtourism.com or by mail to CTO, Allied Awards, 80 Broad Street, Suite 3200, New York, NY 10004. The selection of the winner will be made by a Jury comprising the individuals elected to represent the Allied membership on the CTO Board of Directors.
